Friends of Vernon Beaches was created to promote the use and quality
of beaches in and near Vernon, BC. We live in one of the most beautiful
cities in British Columbia with several large beaches and dozens of little
hidden public access beaches dotted along its shores. With an increasing
population, more is needed to ensure that the recreation needs of Vernonites
and tourists are met. In some cases, advocacy is needed to ensure access
to beaches is not sacrificed for lesser concerns.
