Vernon BC Area Beaches - Paddle Wheel Park Beach

Description:
Few Vernonites know that this beach is actually a private beach owned by the The Okanagan Landing & District Community Association. It is run for the benefit of the public. There is a playpark and meeting hall. By 2007, there will be full disabled access on the beach.

This beach is one of the best on Okanagan Lake even though it is on the smaller side. It is well maintained, clean and family orientated. There are lots of shade trees, which is great when the summer tempatures reach 30C+.

Distance from Downtown Vernon BC:
Roughly 6 kms.

Water, playpark, grass and toilets.

Access:
Free Parking. Bus?
