Vernon BC Area Beaches - Site 9 Beach

Description:
Public Access Beach between 8220 and 8260 Tronson Road. With 37 metres of beachfront, this beach will eventually be an excellent place for a family picnic. Currently the path to the beach is too steep to safely access. Someone is storing some boats and stuff on the site which is an issue for the City of Vernon BC. This is an excellent piece of beach real estate for the citizens of Vernon and for tourists who visit the Okanangan valley.

Improvement Plan:

This beach, on Okanangan lake is possibility scheduled for re-development. The City of Vernon has a plan to redevelop by adding a path to improve access and safty. This is a good swimming beach but is hard to get to.

Amenities:
None. (Eventually there will be picnic tables, better paths and additional sand added to the beach.

Access:
Very Difficult Now. Call Vernon City Council and encourage the development of this beach.
