Vernon BC Area Beaches on Wood Lake
South of Kalamalka lake near Vernon BC is a shallow lake known for its water skiing and warmer waters. The beaches on the north end of the lake have lovely fine gravel sand and little muck on the bottom. Since Wood Lake is not as deep so it tends to be at least 3-4C degrees warmer than other lakes in the area.
